We are now looking for a freelance Business Analyst – Digital Transformation, willing to commute to Melle, Flanders, with lean and data expertise to support a strategic project focused on modernizing processes and systems within the sewer network domain. The initial duration is 12 months (220 days with possible extension).
Your main responsibilities
* Collecting, managing, and providing access to high‐quality data by establishing (data governance) processes and adjusting current operations and processes.
* Enabling key reporting.
* You collaborate with employees from different departments (investment works, operations, asset management, customer service, IT, ...) and thus develop a broad network.
* You are pragmatic and hands‐on, eager to learn, entrepreneurial, and analytical, with good communication skills.
* You combine in‐depth individual business and data analysis with facilitating small working groups, in order not only to jointly work toward the right solution but also to accelerate change among all stakeholders.
* You define the necessary actions to achieve the desired short‐ and long‐term "to‐be" situation.
* You anticipate potential problems in a timely manner and escalate them to the project leader.
* You map out processes, create customer‐oriented trainings, documentation, and communication, and ensure buy‐in for implementing and adopting the to‐be operations.
* You monitor data‐cleaning activities so that data quality improves structurally.
* You report on the progress and impact of implemented changes and actions on data quality.
* You help inspire and strengthen the data culture by realizing data quality improvements and demonstrating exemplary behavior.
Profile we are looking for and requirements:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst (minimum 3 years, medior level).
* Proven experience with development and optimization of business processes (BPM).
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher), with certificate uploaded as proof.
* Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills relevant to the assignment during an interview.
* Dutch language proficiency at CEFR level C2.
Should‐have Competencies
* Proven experience within Change Management.
* Proven experience in the utilities sector (3 years, medior level).
* Proven experience in the water/sewer (riool) sector.
* Proven experience with Asset Management.
* Proven experience with data cleaning and data governance processes.
* Proven experience with stakeholder management.
