About our role
This is an open application as UX/UI Designer with Ariad. By sending us your CV, you’re expressing interest in joining our internal team as a full-time consultant on Ariad’s payroll—someone who represents us, our values, and our mission within the leading brands we work with.
In this role, you’ll be crafting intuitive, beautiful and functional digital experiences that genuinely put the user first. You’ll work on a wide variety of projects—websites, platforms, mobile apps—collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring ideas to life. From here, we move in two directions at once: first, getting to know you and understanding how well we align as a team. And at the same time, we’re actively identifying which exciting project with one of our clients could be the perfect fit for you. It’s a journey of exploration, one where your goals matter just as much as the role itself.
The process is simple:
* A short phone call to understand who you are and what drives you.
* A videocall interview where we dive deeper into your experience and ambitions.
* A final meeting with one of our Business Leads to look at the bigger picture and how we grow together.
What you will be doing
* Design intuitive and visually compelling digital interfaces with a strong focus on user experience.
* Conduct user research, usability testing and turn insights into actionable design decisions.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers and marketers to bring concepts to life.
* Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and final UI designs using tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.
* Ensure a consistent and inclusive design language across all touchpoints.
What you bring
* A deep curiosity about people and how they interact with technology.
* 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer or similar role, ideally in agile environments.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of user-centred design work across platforms.
* Mastery of design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
* Experience working with design systems and accessibility standards.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can articulate your design choices clearly.
* Fluency in English, and Dutch or French is a plus.
