ABOUT THE ROLE - TECHICAL OFFICE MANAGER
We are looking for a Technical Office Manager, the selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating the technical aspects of construction activities, acting as a link between engineering, fabrication, and site execution, while ensuring compliance with quality standards, project timelines, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review project drawings, isometrics, and technical specifications to ensure structural integrity, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
* Conduct site investigations and technical assessments, evaluating site conditions, accessibility, foundations, steel structures, equipment, piping, and insulation activities.
* Support budget preparation by contributing to cost estimations related to materials, manpower, equipment, and other project resources.
* Identify potential technical and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Supervise site and workshop activities, ensuring work is carried out according to project specifications, drawings, and HSE standards.
* Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Manage and monitor the availability and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and workforce.
* Collaborate with the Quality Department to perform inspections and implement quality control procedures.
* Resolve technical issues and provide operational solutions related to technical queries, spooling, cutting lists, as-built drawings, material traceability, and weld history sheets.
* Maintain and update all technical and project documentation.
* Coordinate technical activities related to piping, steel structures, and mechanical systems.
* Utilize CAD software and other technical tools such as PDF Creator, MS Excel, and databases for documentation management and reporting.
* Provide regular progress reports to the Site Manager, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
* Interface with clients, addressing technical concerns and providing effective solutions.
* Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to subcontractors.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, industrial, or oil & gas sectors.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manage technical documentation.
* Knowledge of piping activities, steel structures, and quality control processes.
* Good command of technical software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
* Strong organizational skills, problem-solving attitude, and ability to manage priorities.
* Good knowledge of English.
* VCA certification is mandatory.
