We are looking for a Generalist Engineer – Project Manager (Mechanical & Automation) to lead the implementation of a camera-based detection system designed to verify the integrity of vial packaging within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The role involves managing a cross-functional project in close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Validation teams, ensuring full compliance with pharmaceutical standards and GMP requirements. Proven experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industrial environments is required.
Your Responsibilities
* Support the Project Manager in overall project management (planning, coordination, deliverables follow-up)
* Act as the user representative in close collaboration with production teams
* Develop technical solutions aligned with business needs and operational constraints (including test kit creation)
* Prepare and document technical justifications and business cases within project documentation (PIP)
* Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and facilitate decision-making processes
* Coordinate activities between Engineering, QA, Validation, and end users
* Manage interfaces with construction activities in operational pharmaceutical environments, ensuring compliance with EHS standards
* Lead commissioning and validation activities in compliance with regulatory (GxP) and quality standards
* Organize and lead project meetings (progress follow-up, coordination, reporting)
* Contribute to the qualification of the new visual inspection equipment
Your Profile
* Master’s degree in Engineering (generalist) with a focus on Mechanical and/or Automation
* Experience in technical project management (medior to senior level)
* Good understanding of industrial processes and their operational impact
* Knowledge or interest in vision systems / visual inspection technologies
* Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred (GSK experience is a plus)
* Familiarity with equipment qualification and validation (GxP) is an asset
* Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
* Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
