As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of the company's financial operations. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and working within a team of 25 finance professionals, you will operate in a dynamic, complex, and challenging environment.

Your main responsibilities include:Managing and supervising general ledger accounting in line with Belgian GAAPLeading monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsPreparing accurate financial statements and performing balance sheet reconciliationsDrafting statutory accounts and annual reportsSupporting group reporting activitiesTax & CompliancePreparing and reviewing VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and other Belgian tax filingsSupporting corporate income tax calculations and complianceActing as a key contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authoritiesEnsuring full compliance with Belgian legal and accounting requirementsOperations & ProjectsOverseeing accounts payable, receivable, and fixed assetsImproving accounting processes and strengthening internal controlsContributing to ERP and system optimization projectsParticipating in cross-functional and international initiatives
Your Profile:You are a highly skilled accounting professional who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment and brings strong technical expertise.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or EconomicsAt least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in BelgiumVery strong technical accounting skills, with deep knowledge of Belgian GAAP and VATGood understanding of Belgian corporate taxationExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo, etc.)Advanced Excel skillsFluent in French and DutchProfessional proficiency in EnglishAccurate, structured, and detail-orientedStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAble to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
