Mission Context:
The Agile squad is responsible for supporting and maintaining infrastructure and solutions based on WebSphere and Cloud services. Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure components and deploying new or updated applications on these platforms.
To strengthen the squad, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who will foster an agile mindset and help ensure smooth delivery operations.
Your Responsibilities:
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
* Coordinate key steps of the Agile methodology and ensure they are followed.
* Act as a coach and servant leader to the team, fostering a collaborative, empowered, and high-performing squad culture.
* Identify and remove impediments or obstacles that slow down the team’s progress.
* Encourage continuous improvement within the team and lead retrospectives focused on actionable outcomes.
* Support the delivery of key artifacts such as Sprint Backlog, Definition of Done (DoD), and Velocity Tracking.
* Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
* Monitor team performance metrics such as capacity and velocity to support planning and improvement.
* Shield the team from external disruptions to keep focus on sprint goals.
Profile:
Education & Certification:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience.
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master role.
* Overall professional experience of 5+ years.
* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) is mandatory.
* Experience in an infrastructure/technical environment is a strong asset.
* Prior exposure to the banking or financial services sector is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
* Proficient in Agile tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
* Good understanding of IT infrastructure environments (preferable).
