Team/division description
Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:
• Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models
• Reflecting EU technology into Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing our location advantage and strong network with EU partners
Body Engineering is a major division responsible for Planning & Design of Body parts for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.
Seating engineering department is responsible for the development of all seat related components in the vehicle.
Seat Cover Development Process Optimization
We are looking for an intern to study and improve the collaboration between various stakeholders and divisions involved in the seat cover development process. The final goal is to optimize workflows, reduce duplication and enhance overall efficiency.
1. Analysis and mapping of current seat cover development processes
2. Identify overlaps and gaps in communication and workflow
3. Collaborate with each division to understand their planning and software tools
4. Propose potential platform/software/processes optimizations to unify outputs from all divisions
5. Document the optimized process and provide training to relevant teams
Your Profile
6. University student with at least 2 years of study already completed
7. You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
8. You have interest in development process optimization and digitalization
9. Some experience in programming (in Office 365 environment) is a plus
10. Good communication skills and able to work in multi-cultural environment
11. Highly motivated and ready to accept challenges
