Mission Overview
The role involves functioning as a Data Architect specializing in Azure and Databricks within Keystone Solutions' recruitment department. This consultancy position requires working at our client's site where you will define the target lakehouse architecture, coordinate governance and security, lead the deployment of infrastructure on Azure, and plan the migration trajectory from SQL Server to Databricks as part of the Horizon 2026 program.
Key Responsibilities
Define the target architecture for data lakehouses and ensure comprehensive governance and security frameworks are established.
Lead and manage the deployment of infrastructure on Azure, while planning migration from the existing SQL Server environment to Databricks.
Utilize expertise in Azure, including storage, networking, and security, and Databricks, especially Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
Apply ETL/ELT patterns and ensure effective data governance with IAM and cost/finops considerations.
Demonstrate strong scoping and framing capabilities to ensure project success.
Communicate proficiently in English; knowledge of French and Dutch appreciated for roles involving business interaction.
The position is based in Belgium, with potential for international collaboration.
