Our creative and strategic agency Serviceplan, part of our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for an Account Manager to work on a new client in the electronics retail sector across Belgium and the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Client Management:

* Manage day-to-day execution of campaigns across all phases — conceptual development, operations, production, and finance.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery that meets expectations.
* Translate client needs into clear briefs for creative, strategy, and production teams.
* Maintain smooth communication and workflow between internal departments and external partners.

Team & Project Oversight:

* Supervise and mentor an Account Executive, offering guidance, coaching, and support for their development.
* Collaborate closely with senior account leads and creatives to deliver integrated campaign solutions.
* Take ownership of project timelines, budgets, and resourcing to ensure smooth delivery and profitability.

Client Service Excellence:

* Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients through clear communication and a proactive attitude.
* Help ensure strategic alignment across all campaign activity.
* Solve challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset and always maintain a “glass-half-full” perspective.

Cross-Market Collaboration:

* Work closely with the account team in the Netherlands to align on shared projects, timelines, and client expectations.
* Ensure consistent communication and coordination between Brussels and Amsterdam teams to deliver seamless client service.

Qualifications and requirements

* 6–10 years of experience in advertising, with at least 2 years in an Account Manager role.
* Solid understanding of how agencies operate and what it means to work in a client-facing environment.
* Previous experience handling campaign execution from start to finish, including production and financial management.
* Strong sense of responsibility; takes ownership without being prompted.
* Excellent organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail and follow-through.
* Strong communicator with good people skills, especially in managing and coaching junior team members.
* Comfortable juggling multiple projects and working with various internal and external stakeholders.
* Being a Dutch native speaker is essential, as well as a strong command of English.
