Our client, a well established FMCG brand who is looking for a key account manager to drive revenue growth, and managing trade spend strategy to maximise key account profitability.
Job Description
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the retail industry.
Identifying opportunities to grow accounts and achieve commercial objectives
Analysing client needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Preparing and presenting regular reports on account performance and progress.
Conducting market research to identify trends and potential business opportunities.
Negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profitability.
Monitor promotional budgets, incentives, and value‑added programs.
Evaluate ROI for trade spend activities and adjust investment plans to support profitable growth.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
5+ years of experience in key account management, commercial roles, or business development.
Prior exposure to trade spend, trade terms, or promotional budgets is a strong advantage.
Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing budgets, trade spend, and account profitability.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to manage complex and multi‑market accounts.
Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and data reporting platforms.
