Information Security & Compliance Consultant

* You serve as the single point of contact for all matters pertaining to information security and data protection.
* You translate complex legal frameworks into practical business solutions for the organization.
* You create clear and structured documentation and procedures to guide compliance efforts.
* You advise technical teams and business stakeholders effectively on compliance matters.
* You maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, including GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS 2, and the AI Act.
* You collaborate with international team members during bi-weekly meetings conducted in English.
* You take ownership of initiatives related to information security compliance and drive them forward.
What are we looking for?
* You have
deep, demonstrable expertise in GDPR
and extensive hands-on experience with the
ISO 27001 framework
.
* You have proven experience translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into
practical, actionable business procedures
.
* You are comfortable working autonomously as a subject-matter expert and taking full ownership of your domain.
* You communicate clearly and write structured, high-quality documentation.
* Experience with
NIS 2
and/or the
AI Act
is a strong plus.
* Experience in a
GMP-regulated environment
(pharma, biotech, life sciences) is a plus.
* You are fully proficient in
English
, both written and spoken, as all official procedures and communication are in English.
* Professional proficiency in
Dutch
is an asset.
