Your responsibilities can gradually extend and will include:
1. Being jointly responsible for the monthly closing of the department. Thereby you collaborate with the shared service center, which operates at group level and manages day-to-day Accounts Payable and General Ledger accounting.
2. Working closely with other IP finance team members, as well as the commercial and legal teams within the IP business unit, to coordinate invoicing and royalty reporting, and take the lead to take necessary actions to streamline revenue & receivables processes.
3. You will also act as a back-up in this process for billing.
4. Analyzing budgets and allocating new budgets, taking into account planned activities and organizational challenges.
5. Ensuring that monthly reporting accurately reflects the financial and operational performance of our Intellectual Property business unit.
6. Closely monitoring the financial performance of the business unit on a periodic and ad hoc basis to provide timely and reliable reports and analyses. Based on this, you will make recommendations to strengthen financial performance.
7. Helping further develop and actively manage existing Power BI reporting.
8. Being actively involved in royalty reporting to third parties, specific revenue recognition topics, and reviewing external audit reports from our licensees.
9. Take the lead in diverse projects further enhancing our internal processes.
Frequently interacting and collaborating with other finance teams within Unilin.
WHO ARE YOU?
10. You hold a master’s degree in an economic or financial discipline.
11. You have initial relevant experience in Controlling and want to continue your career in an analytical role.
12. You are fluent in Dutch and English.
13. You have strong IT affinity: you are proficient in Excel and preferably have experience with SAP. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
14. You are detail-oriented, accurate, and structured, with an analytical mindset.
15. Hands-on and down-to-earth describe you well.
16. You have excellent communication skills and can easily and effectively connect with stakeholders at different levels.
