About the job
As Head of Pricing, you define and lead the group's low-price strategy to ensure the best price image in the market while supporting profitable growth. You design, implement, and adjust the pricing policy in line with the commercial strategy, competitive dynamics, and margin objectives.
* Define, develop, and lead the group's low-price strategy to strengthen the competitive position across all business units and ensure a strong price image while supporting profitable growth;
* Design, implement, and continuously adjust the pricing policy in line with commercial strategy, competitive dynamics, and margin objectives;
* Roll out the group pricing strategy and tools across the different markets; define price update timelines, coordinate deployments, and ensure proper execution both in-store and online;
* Assess the impact of price changes on volumes, margins, and overall profitability; analyze "rate vs. volume" effects and optimize the price mix accordingly;
* Work closely with Category Managers on price positioning, assortments, overall offer consistency, and contribute to the definition of the promotional plan in line with the "Everyday Low Price" strategy;
* Ensure the implementation and effective use of pricing tools, processes, and data, while building a strong pricing and margin culture;
* Train, support, and coach local teams, adjusting price increases according to category strategy, competitive environment, and market developments.
About the ideal candidate
* Master's degree in economics, finance, marketing, or management engineering;
* Proficient in French and English. Familiarity with Spanish and Italian is a plus;
* Minimum 8 years of experience in pricing, category management, or controlling, ideally in retail or FMCG;
* Proven experience in highly price-sensitive environments (e.g., specialty retail, mass retail, e-commerce).
