Within the "GPS" team, working with suppliers is key. You will be the vital link between suppliers and customers, managing all supplier communications. The mission is to maintain a healthy supply chain and prevent shortages that could lead to customer back orders.
Your main tasks as a
Logistics Planning Analyst
:
* Your
main focus
is ensuring
timely
,
quality deliveries
to the distribution center,
keeping parts available
for the end customer.
* You will be
educating
and holding
suppliers responsible
as to reach
challenging business results
.
* You value
teamwork
and collaborate with key
partners
like
transportation
,
procurement
, and
engineering
as needed.
* To be successful, you will need to
develop
and
master
a thorough understanding of our
supply chain
processes
and
systems
.
Responsibilities may include:
* Monitor schedules
and
ensure timely
and efficient
deliveries
from suppliers.
* Assess supplier performance
and implement corrective actions when necessary.
* Maintain
clear and effective communication
with internal departments and external suppliers.
* Review, challenge, and evaluate supplier results in line with established performance standards.
* Identify,
analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies
and irregularities.
* Provide
comprehensive
support
for high-priority and critical back orders.

bachelor's
degree.
