Job Summary
Position title: Store Manager
Reports to: District Manager
As a Store Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation of your store, ensuring the highest performance in all areas through effective collaboration with the District Manager. You will adhere to market-specific legal requirements, company policies, risk, and compliance structures. You are expected to have a full overview of your store and lead your team, ensuring efficient workflows, great guest experiences, and high-quality products.
Your success depends on leading, developing, and retaining a highly engaged team, following in-store operational requirements to deliver best-in-class guest experiences and convert regular customers into returning guests. You are accountable for meeting the cost budget, achieving store sales targets, and EBITDA through existing and new company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Virtue-Based Leadership: Lead your team in alignment with company virtues and operational principles.
Recruitment: Responsible for recruitment, pre-boarding, onboarding, and optimal team positioning for future talent.
Employee Engagement: Develop and motivate your team through development plans, in-store training, team meetings, and engagement score management.
Guest Experience: Maintain a guest-first approach, build guest relations in the local community, and ensure hospitality-focused interactions.
Operational Requirements: Maintain a safe, hygienic, and healthy environment; enforce standards and problem-solve in a fast-paced day-to-day environment; develop workflows with stakeholders to share best practices.
Shift Planning and Structures: Create optimal shift plans accounting for seasonality and events; manage attendance, onboarding/offboarding, and legal requirements.
Stock Handling: Own stock management, including counting and ordering to optimize inventory and minimize waste.
Performance Management: Build sales and optimise store EBITDA to achieve KPI targets.
Process
