For one of our clients based in Brussels, we are currently looking for an FP&A Analyst.
The successful candidate will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team and will report directly to the FP&A Manager. The role involves regular interaction with the CFO and the Finance Management Team.
The main objective of this position is to contribute to periodic financial reporting, annual business planning, and quarterly forecasting.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing accurate financial plans, forecasts and management information
• Supporting the continuous improvement and automation of financial reporting (Power BI, etc.)
• Preparing entity management, statutory and regulatory reports and accounts
• Contributing to strategic finance initiatives to help the Finance department meet its overall objectives
• Supporting subject matter experts across the FP&A team, with the aim of developing and adopting best practices across the group
Your profile:
• You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• You have at least five years of relevant experience in a finance role, ideally as an analyst. Experience in the insurance sector is a strong asset
• You have solid technical accounting knowledge and are familiar with financial systems (CODA, Power BI, Oracle, etc.) as well as reporting and closing processes
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
• You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills and are comfortable working in a hybrid setup
