We are looking for a Senior DATA & INTEGRATION ARCHITECT!
One of our clients, a leading organization in the water sector, is seeking an experienced Data & Integration Architect to drive sector-wide data transformation and AI initiatives.
Must-Have Responsibilities:
Data Platform Architecture & Roadmap
Define target architecture and deployment roadmap for a Microsoft-based data platform, ensuring security and business alignment.
Data Lake Migration & Transposition
Lead the migration of the existing Data Lake, preserve all key functionalities, and manage decommissioning with operational continuity.
Data Governance
Implement full governance: data quality, security, access control, traceability, roles, metadata, and compliance.
Implementation Oversight
Coordinate technical teams, monitor progress against roadmap, identify risks, and enforce corrective measures.
AI-Ready Platform & Advanced Use Cases
Design an AI-ready platform for analytics and ML, ensuring dataset traceability, reproducibility, and future integration points.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
Produce detailed architecture, governance, and integration documentation; ensure knowledge is fully transferred to internal teams.
Must-Have Experience & Skills:
* 8+ years in Data Architecture & Integration
* Proven experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Mesh, or Lakehouse
* Expertise in ETL/ELT, API integration, SAP, and open-source environments
* Strong knowledge of data governance, quality, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, audit)
* Hands-on experience in AI/ML-ready platform design
* Excellent French communication; professional working English
* Leadership in a collaborative, results-oriented environment
Preferred Sector Knowledge:
* Public services, utilities (water, energy), or industrial systems
* Familiarity with SCADA, asset management, geospatial systems, and water operations
