As a Business Consultant, you optimize the business value by designing the insights/concepts and solutions for existing and future challenges/questions and/or business needs, bringing the opportunities for improvement forward and building the bridge between the business and the technical department. As a future initiative owner, you also enhance the value of change initiatives and design processes that align with the company's strategic goals across various business and technology domains
Your responsibilities :
As a Business Consultant, you enhance the value of our projects by offering solutions or creating processes aligned with strategic goals.
You act as a servant leader proactively supporting and stimulating people to self-organize and facilitate the required work environment to accommodate for that and foster close collaboration and continuous improvement.
In close collaboration with all stakeholders, you enable healthy Domain/Tribe dynamics and delivery and an effective fast value delivery flow.
You ensure alignment with all involved stakeholders and cross-domains. You ensure that all necessary information is at hand and prior alignments are performed to prioritize efficiently.
You inspect, control and foster adaption to change by contributing to monitoring the realization of the Product Journey Backlog, initiatives and by taking necessary steps in case of drawbacks or blockers.
You contribute to new business value exploration through active search for new business value opportunities and by supporting the set-up initiatives and lean business cases by looking for a product that allows the team to collect the maximum amount of validated learning about customers with the least effort.
You provide technical leadership, challenges business stakeholders on mapping the right solution to the strategic business objectives.
Our ideal Business Consultant :
* You have a master's or bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience and are Dutch & English speaking
* You have a can-do mentality, an agile mindset and experience with dealing with change in an organization. Strategic thinking has no secrets for you.
* You have a sharp understanding of how data can be used to drive the business.
* You have strong storyteller skills and the ability to deliver a message with impact to senior leadership.
* You have excellent negotiating and influencing skills to deal with conflicting priorities and ambiguity.
* You are confident and open-minded with a \"we say what's what\" approach.
* You have a continuous improvement and self-learning mindset and dedication to find new ways of working. In addition, the below knowledge and experience are required:
o broad Telenet business knowledge
o experience of driving change initiatives (large or small)
o passion for helping teams and individuals to deliver and personally grow
o positive attitude which puts the needs of the entire team before the individual and helping others perform to the best of their abilities (Servant Leadership)
o guiding colleagues in their development of their technical & functional knowledge and supporting them in their decision-making in collaboration with the talent lead.
* You are familiar with IT technology/solutions.
