At Colruyt Group IT, you become part of one of the largest internal IT organisations in Belgium. With more than 2,000 IT professionals in Belgium, France and India, we design, build and maintain the digital solutions that support our retail activities. From application development to end‐to‐end IT projects, our teams work with modern technologies to keep our organisation future‐proof.
As a Functional Analyst, you help shape efficient business processes and IT systems at the core of our retail operations or supporting services such as HR, logistics, supply chain or finance. It is a role in which you build strong expertise and grow into a broad IT professional.
Your role:
* You analyse the existing situation and carry out thorough needs assessments. Based on your insights, you define clear functional and non‐functional requirements to support the business goals.
* You translate these requirements to development teams using methodologies such as user stories, data modelling, BPMN and UX design, supported by tools like Balsamiq. You help design and test the proposed solution and document everything so that stakeholders and end users can easily implement the system.
You work from Halle (head office) or Bornem. Working from home is possible up to two days per week.
Your profile:
Knowledge and experience: You have at least three years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst or in a similar role. Knowledge of UML or Lean Management is a plus.
Analytical mindset: You maintain a clear overview and distinguish essentials from details.
Communication: You listen actively, ask the right questions and can empathise with your stakeholders.
Team player: You join a community of around 350 analysts and work closely with colleagues across the organisation.
Language skills: You speak Dutch and English fluently, which enables smooth communication with colleagues in Belgium and abroad.
What we offer:
Impact: You work closely with your internal clients and contribute directly to their vision and strategy.
Variation and challenge: You collaborate with many different stakeholders, and no two days are the same.
Development opportunities: You can build a career path that suits your ambitions. Colruyt Group encourages continuous learning and growth.
A pleasant working environment: You work in an open and supportive atmosphere where colleagues help each other and enjoy working together.
Attractive salary package You receive a competitive salary with extra benefits such as a company car or mobility budget, profit‐sharing, hospitalisation and group insurance and meal vouchers.
