The assignment
* Streamline data flows within the unit, working in close collaboration with the ICT department to ensure efficient and secure data exchange.
* Standardize data structures, including experimental process flows, tool recipes, characterization setups, and other research-related datasets.
* Roll out processes defined at corporate or unit level, ensuring consistent implementation and compliance within the unit.
* Suggest AI-for-research(ers) topics and maintain a comprehensive overview of ongoing AI activities within the unit, acting as a central point for AI initiatives and knowledge sharing.
* Enable requirements and support the (operational teams) in reporting and dashboarding.
* Promote a way of working that is in line with the Information security policy. Enable, roll-out and provide feedback to new data and security initiatives.
Required knowledge and skills
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, AI implementation, or research support roles.
* Strong understanding of data architectures, research data workflows, and AI technologies.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Skills and Attributes:

* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
* Given the international character of imec, proficiency in English is mandatory.
