We are looking for a
Praktijkeducator Spoed
who helps shape training, coaching, and clinical expertise development within our emergency departments.
Wat houdt de functie in?
As a Praktijkeducator Spoed, you are the engine behind high-quality training, onboarding, and clinical growth within the emergency department. You connect policy, evidence‑based practice, and everyday practice, and raise the team to a higher level.
You combine
at least 50% clinical work
with
50% practical education, coaching, and quality improvement.
Jouw kerntaken
Onboarding & introduction
Designing and implementing onboarding programs for new healthcare staff within the emergency department.
Coordinating introduction days, learning pathways, and campus‑specific training.
Evaluating training and continuously improving based on feedback.
Training, development & clinical expertise
Coordinating training offerings with nursing leaders and VPEC.
Setting up training programs (clinical simulations, scenario training, debriefings).
Monitoring competency matrices and organizing evaluation moments.
Strengthening clinical reasoning, evidence‑based practice, and professional growth.
Supporting resuscitation policy in the hospital.
Bedside coaching
Observation & on‑the‑job coaching.
Providing insight into clinical reasoning, safety, and high‑quality practice.
Individual guidance in learning and growth trajectories.
Quality, innovation & EBP (Evidence‑Based Practice)
Translating new guidelines into SOPs, tools, and usable learning material.
Analyzing indicators, incident reports, and audits.
Initiating improvement projects to increase safety and efficiency.
Actively following trends, innovations, and new learning methodologies.
Student involvement & collaboration
Coordinating student activities and mentorship across emergency campuses.
Promoting integration of students through a strong, shared program.
Serving as liaison between emergency department, VPEC, HR recruitment, partner schools, and internal stakeholders.
Wie ben jij?
Minimum 10 years of experience in acute care (emergency or general hospital), or equivalent expertise.
Bachelor or master in nursing, with a valid visa.
Holder of the special title for intensive and emergency care.
Knowledge of quality and training processes, or willingness to develop it.
Strong organizational skills, connector, coach, and good communicator.
Enjoy working with a strong learning culture and inspiring colleagues.

A full‑time contract of indefinite duration.
Working hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. (depending on team needs).
Employment at campuses where an emergency department is located.
Remuneration according to IFIC guidelines: IFIC 15 – 50% and IFIC 16 – 50%. Attractive leave policy, group – and hospitalization insurance, reimbursement of additional performance.
