🎯 Role Overview


We are looking for an Expert Solution Engineer / Scrum Delivery Master to join a large-scale digital modernization program within a federal-level, high-compliance environment.

You will step into an ongoing, high-visibility initiative involving complex systems, tight timelines, and senior-level stakeholders. This is a hands-on delivery role, combining solution engineering expertise with Agile leadership.


⚙️ Responsibilities


* Design, guide, and contribute to secure, scalable cloud-based solutions
* Act as Scrum / Agile Delivery Master, driving sprint ceremonies and delivery alignment
* Coordinate release planning across multiple workstreams and dependencies
* Support the design and implementation of API-driven, microservices architectures
* Ensure high-quality delivery across the full lifecycle (design → build → run)
* Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders in a multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to continuous improvement, tooling, and best practices


🧠 Required Skills


Critical


* 10+ years in software engineering (strong Java background)
* Strong experience with:
* API design & development
* Microservices architecture
* Event-driven systems (event sourcing / event handling)
* Proven experience as a Scrum / Agile Delivery Master in complex environments
* Experience with cloud-native architectures
* Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar delivery tooling
* Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)


Languages


* English (fluent)
* Dutch and French (both required in a professional context)


☝️ Nice to Have


* Domain-Driven Design (DDD) / Behavioral Design practices
* Frontend exposure (e.g., Angular)
* Experience in regulated or public-sector environments
