Due to strong growth, Sarens Projects is looking for
an experienced and driven Project Operations Manager
to lead, align and develop our operational departments (PRG = Project Group and TS = Technical Solutions). This is a
key leadership
role where operational excellence meets human capital development -with a special focus on supporting and mentoring (young) talent.
As a
central figure within operations
you will :
* Oversee day-to-day operations and project execution across PRG and TS department.
* Monitor project progress on technical solution and operational execution, budget, scope, and timeline (SPM) - providing guidance and strategic challenge to Project Managers.
* Coach and mentor department leads and their teams, with special attention for younger professionals and new joiners.
* Drive efficiency through process analysis, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing optimizations.
* Safeguard compliance with SHEQ, legal, and HR standards.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating working environment where people feel empowered to grow.
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional departments.
You report directly to the Managing Director Sarens Project Hub2, and work with stakeholders across the whole organization.
You will be part of the Management Team.

Your profile:
* Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. Construction, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
* 10+ years of experience in project operations or project management in a technical/international setting (e.g. heavy lifting, steel or civil construction, industrial services).
* Proven experience in leading teams and coaching young professionals.
* Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
* Flexible mindset and willingness to travel (~10%).
