As Principal Image Sensor Digital Design Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of digital circuits and subsystems for next-generation CMOS image sensors. This senior technical role requires deep expertise in digital architecture, RTL design, and mixed-signal integration for high-performance imaging applications.
Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or Physics.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in digital IC design, preferably for CMOS image sensors.
Proficiency in RTL design (Verilog/VHDL), synthesis, and timing closure.
Strong understanding of image sensor architectures and digital signal processing.
Experience with ISP pipelines, compression algorithms, and high-speed interfaces (MIPI, LVDS).
Knowledge of DFT, low-power design techniques, and advanced verification methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Soft Skills:
Creative problem-solving, effective communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Define and implement digital blocks such as timing controllers, sequencers, and data path logic.
Develop low-power, high-speed designs optimized for image sensor performance.
Integrate 3 rd party IP blocks into the digital logic
Mixed-Signal Integration:
Work with analog teams to ensure seamless integration of digital and analog subsystems.
Support calibration, correction algorithms, and on-chip processing.
Verification & Validation:
Create testbenches and perform functional verification using simulation tools.
Implement state-of-the-art DFT techniques like BIST routines, vector scanning and boundary scanning support
Collaborate on FPGA prototyping and lab validation of digital designs.
Technical Leadership:
Drive innovation and contribute to IP development and patents.
