Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who is passionate about building stable, scalable, and secure software environments. The SRE will bridge infrastructure, platform, and development to take our platforms to the next level.
Responsibilities
* Guarantee the stability and availability of production and development environments.
* Proactively prevent incidents and perform root‑cause analyses.
* Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tools; guide software teams on platform usage.
* Drive operational excellence through automation and runbooks.
* Support the transition to containerization and cloud‑native technologies (Azure, Kubernetes).
* Act as an ambassador for resilience engineering and incident response.
Technical Context
* Stack: WISA (Windows servers, ASP.NET runtime, SQL).
* Tools: Octopus Deploy, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
* Transition: From VM‑based scaling to service‑based scaling, containerization, and cloud‑native (Azure, Kubernetes).
* Monitoring stack is not yet finalized – your input matters.
* Evolution toward microservices and service‑oriented architecture.
Hard Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with observability tools and practices (logs, metrics, tracing).
* Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Ansible, ARM templates).
* .NET Core is a plus.
* AI‑driven systems are a strong asset.

Languages
Good command of English (due to our international context). Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.
