To strengthen its operations, the company is looking for a Shift Team Lead Technician to join its Data Center based in Brussels.Morning: 06:00 – 14:00 Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:00 Night: 22:00 – 06:00 Your new role As a Shift Team Lead Technician, you will oversee and participate in the daily technical operations of the Data Center. You will ensure the stability and reliability of critical Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, coordinate activities during your shift, and uphold operational excellence, safety standards, and contractual commitments. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the technical team during the shift and ensure operational coordination. Allocate tasks and monitor their completion according to priority. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform daily inspections of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems and technical equipment. Carry out environmental checks to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct technical rounds, record meter readings (UPS, PDU, utilities), and perform fault diagnostics. Monitor faults, propose corrective actions, and implement repairs. Oversee and verify the work performed by external vendors. Update maintenance reports, checklists, and technical documentation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. Your profile Technical qualification (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or electromechanical) with apprenticeship or equivalent. 1–2 years of experience in a critical environment (data center, industrial, hospital, etc.). General understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, electricity, BMS, critical equipment). Ability to follow technical procedures and safety standards. Strong organizational skills and problem‑solving mindset. Clear and effective communication skills in English (written & spoken). Ability to work under pressure in a mission‑critical environment. Detail-oriented, reliable, and safety‑driven. Basic numeracy skills (percentages, measurements, calculations). What you'll get in return Full‑time permanent contract with rotating shifts.
