Required Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Cloud Services to join our team. The successful candidate will design and implement Azure-based solutions that align with the organization's business objectives and technical requirements. This role involves close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to ensure efficient integration, optimization, and security of Azure services. Key Responsibilities
Design & Implementation:
Develop and document architectural solutions leveraging Azure services, ensuring alignment with organizational principles and standards. Documentation:
Create comprehensive design documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate Azure services into the overall platform. Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with security best practices and cloud environment standards. Coordinate with other Solution Architects specializing in various domains to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions. Technical Guidance:
Provide mentorship to implementation and operations teams on Azure best practices and technologies. Optimization:
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Azure resources for high performance, scalability, and reliability. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest Azure features and industry trends to enhance the platforms architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in designing and implementing cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Proven experience in the architecture and design of complex cloud-based solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of network architecture and security best practices in Azure. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Elastic stack, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification preferred. Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
