About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EMEA Payroll Manager to lead and own payroll operations across the EMEA region. Based in Leuven, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for approximately 200 employees across multiple countries, including Germany, India, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the UK.In this role, you will lead and develop a payroll administrator while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure a seamless payroll experience. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency across the region.You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, based in the United States.Key responsibilitiesAs EMEA Payroll Manager, you will:Own and deliver end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and complianceEnsure adherence to local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal company policiesLead, coach, and support a payroll specialist, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementOversee payroll systems (ADP) and time & attendance processes, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiencyPartner with Finance on payroll accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and auditsDrive process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives across payroll operationsServe as the primary escalation point for complex payroll queries and issue resolutionManage relationships with external payroll providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and complianceBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and business leadersAct as a subject matter expert on payroll and contribute to broader HR and operational projectsYour ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, or a related field8 – 10+ years of payroll experience in a multi-country (EMEA) environmentStrong knowledge of payroll compliance across multiple jurisdictionsHands-on experience with ADP payroll systemsProven ability to manage payroll operations with a high level of accuracy and confidentialityStrong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience leading, mentoring, or developing othersFluent in English; additional European languages (e.G., Dutch) are a plusHigh attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindsetOur CultureWe are a collaborative and forward-thinking organization that values ownership, trust, and innovation.
