About the Position
We are seeking a Service Technician for an international company in the renewable energy sector.
This is a remote position with frequent travel throughout Spain to provide on-site technical support at customers’ photovoltaic plants.
The selected professional will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of high-power solar inverters, taking part in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities in the field.
Additionally, they will act as a technical point of reference for clients during service operations.
Responsibilities
* Perform testing, validation, installation, commissioning, and supervision of solar inverter stations in accordance with technical specifications.
* Build strong relationships with customers and act as the main point of contact during service operations.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
* Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety protocols during all interventions.
* Coordinate service activities with on-site teams and manage materials and spare parts.
* Represent the technical service team and maintain professional communication with customers at all times.
Requirements
* Accredited training in Electrical Risk & RD 614/2001.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in power electronics, especially in medium-voltage systems (service, manufacturing, or testing).
* Knowledge of solar inverters, transformers, and photovoltaic modules.
* PRL 60h (Basic Level) + Second Cycle PRL 20h (Execution and Responsibility Technicians).
* Field experience and ability to work in diverse environmental conditions.
* Knowledge and proper application of LOTO procedures.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently (approx. 70%).
* Strong communication skills.
* Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
