To support the Sales & Marketing teams a global automotive brand with European HQ in Brussels, we are looking for a Business Data Analyst :
Your responsibilities
Y our role is to provide punctual, high quality and consistent data analytics, insight curation, and performance reporting to your Senior Management and Executive teams.
Daily tasks will include:
Reporting
· Develop, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards to ensure accurate and timely performance visibility for both Financial Services and Car sales across Europe.
· Collect, consolidate, and analyze performance data from multiple sources.
· Build and automate reporting processes using advanced Excel (Pivot Tables and complex formulas).
· Collaborate with stakeholders in HQ and European markets to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
· Prepare regular performance reports and presentations (PowerPoint) for management, highlighting key insights for both Financial Services and Car sales across Europe.
Targets
· Lead the end-to-end target planning process, including target setting, tracking, and reporting both Financial Services and Car sales across Europe.
Quality control
· Work closely with data teams across European markets to ensure high quality, consistency, and reliability of performance data.
· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
Your profile
- Education : Bachelor / Master degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, Statistics, Mathematics.
- Automotive minded and/or knowledge of European market (sales volumes, market shares, competitors…)
- 3 years of relevant experience as a Performance Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical (manage complex set of parameters) and visualisation skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Sumifs. .. and automation of reporting processes.
- Intermediate skills in Power BI, with the ability to develop, update, and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Experience with Anaplan is a strong plus (nice to have).
- Experience working with international teams, ideally supporting multiple entities or markets.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Highly developed ability to be critical with facts and figures –working with numbers and data
- Self-starter attitude, taking initiative and not afraid of responsibility
- Ability to plan your work according to deadlines – able to work under strong pressure
- Innovative mind, with drive for continuous improvement
- Flexible team player with hands-on mentality
- Fluent English is a must, other languages are assets.
