Our vision for APM at BD

BD Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) is a global leader in advanced monitoring solutions that expands BD’s portfolio of smart connected care solutions with its growing set of leading monitoring technologies, advanced AI-enabled clinical decision tools and robust innovation pipeline. BD APM’s technologies are often used simultaneously with the BD Alaris Infusion System in operating rooms or intensive care units. The combination of BD’s new advanced monitoring and existing infusion platforms enables future innovation opportunities for closed-loop hemodynamic monitoring and IV fluid and medication administration by integrating combined company data sets and interoperability capabilities.


Main Responsibilities Will Include

* Provide comprehensive education on device handling, implantation procedures, and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools, and products used in device implants.
* Conduct and coordinate one‑on‑one training sessions and structured in‑service education programs for physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on investigational products and procedures.
* Ensure customers are fully prepared to use products by maintaining in‑service support and readiness.
* Validate updates to software and hardware in the field as applicable to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
* Manage certification processes for centers, physicians, related staff, and Edwards personnel in accordance with company SOPs.
* Interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and proctors to support clinical and educational initiatives.
* Continuously improve training curriculum, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experience and Edwards guidelines.
* Contribute to business intelligence efforts by gathering insights and feedback from field activities.
* Provide follow‑up support during commercial procedures to ensure continuity of education and technical assistance for optimal patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with Sales and Sales Management to plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts.
* Continuously learn and stay updated on product features, physiology, anatomy, applications, and market language.


About You

* Bachelor in Nursing or equivalent.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal abilities.
* Fluent in Dutch and English; French is nice to have.
* Proven first experience in a matrix environment.
* Solid problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities.
* Good knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science, including anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
* Familiarity with medical device regulatory requirements, documentation, device accountability, and adverse event reporting.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with supervisors and colleagues.
* Ability to build and maintain stable working relationships internally.
* Commitment to adhering to all company policies and procedures, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
* Proactive in implementing control measures to prevent injuries and environmental impact within their scope of influence.
* Flexibility to cover Belgium region.
