Help Set the Culinary Standard in a Brand-new Tuscan Restaurant in GhentArno Ristorante has recently opened inside a brand-new, state-of-the-art event center. For our fine-dining outlet, we are looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a strong background in 5-star hotels or Michelin-starred restaurants. You will act as the right hand of our Head Chef, bringing Italian culinary refinement to life through craftsmanship, creativity, and teamwork. Your role in our kitchen You support the Head Chef in developing and refreshing the menu, with a focus on seasonal products and Tuscan traditions You take charge of daily operations when the Chef is absent and ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. You coach and motivate the kitchen team, contributing to an open and professional work culture. You monitor the quality of dishes, ensure hygiene regulations are followed, and maintain an efficient kitchen setup. You collaborate closely with the Head Chef, Restaurant Manager, and the kitchen and service team to offer guests an exceptional culinary experience. Who are we looking for? You have at least 3 years of experience as a Sous-chef or Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel or a Michelin-starred restaurant, and you are fully familiar with the standards, precision, and discipline required in such environments. You are available full-time (38 hours) or at least 4/5, spread over 4–5 shifts from Monday to Sunday between 7 AM and 11 PM. You have a passion for Italian cuisine – for you, Tuscany is more than just a holiday destination. You are highly organized, work methodically, and have a keen eye for detail. You are a team player who understands the importance of collaboration and communication in a professional kitchen. You speak Dutch or English and can express yourself fluently in a professional setting. StartdatumASAP What do we offer you?
