Mission
The Investment Manager plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth strategy through mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments in innovative start ups. As a core member of the Corporate Finance & Investments team, the role covers end-to-end execution of transactions, from opportunity screening and due diligence to deal structuring, execution, and post‑investment monitoring, in close collaboration with business units, management, and external advisors.
Responsibilities
Identify and analyze potential M&A, joint venture, and investment opportunities in line with the company’s strategic priorities.
Lead and coordinate financial, strategic, and commercial due diligence processes, including interactions with internal stakeholders and external advisors (financial, tax, legal).
Prepare and review valuation analyses and financial models (DCF, comparables, scenarios, sensitivity analyses).
Prepare high‑quality investment memos, management presentations, and decision documents for the investment committee and the board of directors.
Contribute to, and where appropriate, lead deal structuring (transaction structure, investment terms, governance, shareholder agreement).
Support negotiations, transaction documentation, and closing processes with Legal and external counsel.
Monitor and manage the post‑transaction follow‑up, including performance and value‑creation tracking and governance participation.
Contribute to the proactive management of the portfolio, including reinvestment and exit opportunities.
Maintain an active ecosystem watch on relevant markets and technologies.
Care for continuous improvement of internal investment processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with a strong financial background.
5–8 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, transaction services, private equity / venture capital, corporate development, or strategic finance.
Solid experience across the full transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, valuation, and deal execution.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to translate analyses into clear, decision‑oriented insights.
Good understanding of M&A, joint venture, and minority investment structures, including governance and shareholder arrangements.
Exposure to technology‑driven or industrial environments (e.g., medtech, deep‑tech, engineering‑intensive sectors) is a strong asset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
Fluency in English and French; additional language skills are a strong plus.
Pro‑active, structured, and hands‑on mindset, with a solid sense of ownership and teamwork.
