About the Role
We are looking for a
Data & AI
Manager
to lead and further develop the Data & AI department of approximately
25 professionals
for one of our customers, a national organization in the legal and public services sector.
This is a
strategic leadership role
(not hands-on operational) responsible for defining and executing the organization's Data & AI vision, ensuring data quality and governance, and shaping the future of data-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement the
Data & AI strategy
aligned with business objectives.
* Lead and inspire a
team of ~25 data professionals
(data engineers, analysts, governance specialists, etc.).
* Ensure high standards of
data quality, governance, security, and compliance
.
* Develop the roadmap for the
future of Data & AI
, including innovation and ethical use of AI.
* Act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders across departments.
* Report to senior leadership and represent the Data & AI function in strategic discussions.
Required Profile
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in
leading Data & AI / Data Governance teams
.
* Strong background in
data strategy, data governance, and data quality management
.
* Familiarity with data technologies such as
Looker and SQL
(no hands-on work expected, but good understanding required).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Languages
* Native-level Dutch or French
, with excellent command of the other.
* Professional level English
