Your Role
As we continue to scale our organization, we are looking for an HR Manager to take full ownership of our HR function and further professionalize our people operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire HR scope, combining strategy with execution. You will ensure that our recruitment, people processes, performance management and HR operations are structured, compliant and scalable.
You will work closely with management, external partners and internal teams to support Virto’s continued growth and to build a strong, high-performing organization.
Your responsibilities include:
* HR Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement a pragmatic HR strategy aligned with company objectives
* Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Own and drive hiring across all functions
* Performance & Culture: Build a culture of accountability, ownership and direct communication
* Employee Relations: Act as a trusted and straightforward advisor to both employees and leadership
* Compensation & Benefits: Develop and manage competitive and scalable structures
* HR Operations: Oversee contracts, payroll coordination and compliance with Belgian labor law
* Learning & Development: Implement initiatives that genuinely improve performance
This role requires someone who is comfortable switching between strategic decisions and operational execution.
Your Profile
* You have 5+ years of HR experience, covering both strategic and operational HR
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* You communicate in a clear and direct way and are not afraid to challenge when needed
* You understand that HR should drive business impact, not just processes
* You are hands-on and take ownership
* You have strong knowledge of Belgian labor law
* You are fluent in Dutch and English
* Experience in a scale-up or fast-growing environment is a strong plus
