The role of Outside Sales Representative involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to position the company as their preferred supplier. Key responsibilities include selling products and services, developing new business opportunities, consulting with customers to find solutions, collaborating with purchasing and engineering departments, and maintaining market awareness.
Key Responsibilities
* Selling company products and services to assigned customers in your sales territory
* Developing and securing new businesses to expand the customer base and increase potential sales
* Consulting customers and finding the best solution in our portfolio
* Collaborating with the customer's purchasing and engineering departments on projects and designs
* Developing strong relationships with suppliers to support end-customers' technical and commercial needs
* Maintaining market awareness on competitor activities, industry trends and new concepts
Requirements
* Several years of sales experience where you have gained solid knowledge of the electronic component industry and its products and services
* Completed professional technical and/or commercial education
* Strong analytical and sales methodology skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills
* As a team player, you excel with your outstanding communication and presentation skills
* Exceptional knowledge of company products, services & value proposition, with a willingness to acquire new knowledge on future focus product areas
* Good English language skills, as well as good MS Office skills, especially Excel
