About the role
Our client is the Belgian subsidiary of a family-owned international group that specializes in bakery ingredients and customized mixes for professional bakers. They operate from Zaventem, focusing on technical expertise, customer advisory services, and innovative solutions.
Today, following an internal promotion, they are looking to recruit a "National Key Account Manager Artisans".
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for managing and expanding relationships with the key customers/wholesalers and for selling the products to these customers.
5. Strategic point of contact for wholesalers and key bakers
6. Regular visits to wholesalers and key bakers
7. Understanding customer needs and translating them into effective commercial proposals
8. Introducing new products, promotions, and innovations, while providing the necessary technical support
9. General customer analysis
10. Forecasting for key bakers and wholesalers (targets, actions, etc.)
11. Follow-up on condition agreements with wholesalers
12. Follow-up on projects
13. Organizing demos (products/know-how)
14. Close collaboration with other departments (logistics, marketing, etc.)
15. Providing support to the Head of Sales and the Managing Director
About the ideal candidate
The ideal candidate has minimum years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within the food industry or bakery sector.
16. Knowledge of raw materials in the bakery world
17. Strong commercial and communication skills
18. Analytical ability
19. Ability to plan independently and proactively
20. IT knowledge (minimum Windows Office; Power BI and CRM are a plus)
21. Languages: You are trilingual — Dutch, French and English.
