The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of all warehousing and dispatch activities and the delivery of excellent customer services levels through efficient organisation of staff, 3 PL's and equipment.
Your responsibilities are:
- you are responsible for the warehousing processes, dispatch planning, stock accuracy, transport management and pallet management in McBride's warehouse and 3PL's.
- you manage resources to ensure customer service levels are maintained and reviewed, including day-to-day compliance and performance of third party providers to policies, key performance indicators and continuous improvement.
- you optimise storage and warehouses flow through ABC analysis and set-up of warehouse lay out.
- your drive a zero accident culture, leading by example and focusing on risk assessment, safety walks and conversations, hazard awareness, safety working practices compliance to Group HSE standards.
- as people manager you motivate your team, set objectives & development plans, in line with the logistics strategy.
Your profile:
Studies and working experience
- degree in logistics and/or business management or equivalent by working experience
- at least 3 years supervisory level operational experience
Technical skills
- languages: very good knowledge of Dutch/French/English, a fourth language (Italian-German-Spanish) is a plus
- hands on experience of using software for warehouse management
