Our client is a reputable and well-established conglomerate with business activities across hospitality, entertainment, financial services and property. As part of strategic growth, the group is seeking a high-calibre Risk Management professional to join the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, based in Hong Kong.
The Key Responsibilities For This Position Are As Follows
Assist the Group Leader in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in developing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management framework for the Group and subsidiaries
Perform risk assessments, risk management due diligence and KRI monitoring
Design, evaluate, develop and implement ERM policies, risk initiatives, processes and procedures for the group as well as providing expertise on risk management advice
Develop and implement risk models, methodologies and systems and monitor the risk governance framework
Perform periodic reviews on risk appetite and tolerances with the risk owners, 1st line businesses and functions
Provide support on risk reporting, perform deep dive analysis and report on trends, impacts and risk issues
Draft risk reports and presentation materials for risk committee and management meetings
Work closely with the business and 1st line risk owners teams and units on implementing and compliance with group standards, risk framework and regulatory requirements, running and facilitating risk management trainings
Assist the 1st line teams in implementing risk management responsibilities, setting risk management strategies, KRIs, risk identification and reporting requirements as well as advising them on risk scenario analysis and stress testing
Support the design and roll-out the 3rd Party Risk Management framework across the Group
Assist on ad-hoc request and projects from the enterprise risk management perspectives
Promote risk awareness and best practices across the group and subsidiaries
Successful Applicants Will Have The Following Skills And Experience
Degree qualified ideally with relevant professional qualifications in risk management, audit, finance, accounting
Minimum 12 to 15 years relevant experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Risk Assurance, Risk Consulting / Advisory and / or Internal Control gained from sizeable and complex corporates, MNCs, professional services, Big 4, financial institutions (not industry-specific)
Experience in designing, revamping, implementing, rolling-out risk management framework would be highly advantageous
Experience in risk assessment, risk identification, risk monitoring processes
Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools and techniques
Excellent writing skills with strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
