Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for an HSE Officer to join its team.
As an HSE Officer at Vulcain Engineering Belgium, you will work on industrial projects during the construction phase.
ABOUT THE ROLE :
Ensure an active and visible presence on site
Monitor contractors' compliance with HSE rules and procedures
Participate in risk assessments and the development of action plans
Conduct inspections, audits, and safety walks
Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of Specific Health & Safety Plans (PPSS)
Take part in safety meetings and toolbox talks
Raise awareness among teams and promote a proactive safety culture
Report incidents and near-misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
ABOUT YOU :
Certified Prevention Advisor Level 2 (CP2)
Field experience in industrial or technical construction environments
Strong observation skills and analytical mindset
Assertive and able to address non-compliance issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with a solution-oriented mindset
