The Brand Manager EMEA leads the development and execution of brand initiatives across the EMEA region. This role is critical in driving brand consistency, market relevance, and customer engagement for Mercury's premium marine propulsion products. The Brand Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and global brand leadership to oversee brand positioning, product launches, activations, and marketing initiatives that resonate with both B2B and B2C audiences and ensure Mercury's brand presence is strong, innovative, and aligned with business goals. This role requires a combination of strategic vision, brand expertise, and hands-on execution to drive growth, elevate brand awareness, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Accountabilities
Brand Strategy & Execution

* Develop and execute Mercury's brand strategy in the EMEA market, ensuring alignment with global objectives and positioning.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints, including digital, retail, events, and communications.
* Define brand messaging, audience segmentation, and customer personas to optimize engagement and drive growth.
* Lead the planning and rollout of integrated marketing campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand awareness.
* Collaborate with the digital, PR, and creative teams to deliver impactful content and storytelling.
* Oversee the implementation of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

Marketing & Activations

* Plan and execute product launches, brand campaigns, and promotional activities to increase market penetration and customer engagement.
* Own and manage content for the Mercury Marine website and social pages across EMEA markets. Ensure regional relevance, brand consistency, and alignment with product and campaign priorities.
* Work with the regional marketing team to localize campaigns and communications for the EMEA market, and implement impactful tactics throughout digital, promotions, research, advertising, social, and media.
* Specialized expertise in evaluating, planning, and executing experiential marketing initiatives from ideation to delivery, with clear target outcomes.
* Develop and manage Mercury branded merchandise and apparel offering to grow engagement and brand appeal
* Uphold brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across all regional assets and communications.
* Act as a brand ambassador internally and externally.

Market & Consumer Insights

* Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform brand strategy.
* Leverage insights to identify growth opportunities and refine messaging.

Content & Digital Marketing

* Develop strategy and guidelines for content creators, influencers, and ambassadors to amplify brand awareness and storytelling.
* Collaborate with the creative team to produce compelling marketing assets for digital, print, and social media.
* Collaborate with the Digital team to align and execute regional digital strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

* Partner with product management, sales, and dealer networks to ensure brand alignment and support go-to-market efforts.
* Work closely with EMEA marketing team to localize global campaigns and enhance regional activations, events, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

Budget & Performance Management

* Develop and manage the EMEA brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of brand initiatives and inform future decisions.
* Provide reports and insights to leadership on brand performance, competitive landscape, and market trends.

People Management

* Communicate the business objectives, plans, budget and performance to all employees within his/her scope in order to maximize the individual and collective contributions and commitment to continuously improve the performance of the business.
* Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and set performance goals for team members.
* Promote employee engagement and satisfaction through regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
* Identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for professional growth.

Skills & Knowledge

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
* 5-8 years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in a premium consumer, outdoor industry or lifestyle brand.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns across multiple markets.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and content strategy.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
* Experience in the marine, watersports, or outdoor lifestyle industry is a plus.
* Experience working in a matrixed, international environment is a plus.
* Willingness to travel (up to 20%) for events, activations, and industry engagements.
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Passion for innovation, adventure, and premium brand positioning.
* Hands-on approach with a high level of attention to detail.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Enthusiastic about watersports or outdoor adventure industries.

Our Offer
This exciting position is classified as Global Grade 14 and offers a salary range between €83,000 to €115,000 (payable in 13.92 instalments). Please be aware that this range represents the pay scale for all positions within the job grade in which the post falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location (country).
