This function bridges strategy and implementation, and acts as a key spokesperson for sustainability—both within the organization and externally with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Alignment & Roadmap ExecutionCollaborate closely with McCain's global sustainability teams to translate group-wide sustainability strategies into relevant local actions.Co-develop and maintain the local sustainability roadmap, in partnership with functional leaders (Production, Environment, Packaging, HR, Finance...).Support and adapt group sustainability guidelines to the realities of Lutosa's operations and local regulatory framework.Contribute to double materiality assessments to help prioritize topics based on impact and business relevance.Define and monitor KPIs and SMART objectives to track sustainability progress across all sustainability pillars.2. Operational Coordination & Internal GovernanceAnimate the 5 sustainability pillars, each driven by a dedicated department lead.Foster cross-functional collaboration around transversal topics and harmonize initiatives across teams.Ensure consistency and visibility of progress through internal updates, dashboards, and project tracking.Coordinate with internal leaders to set roadmaps, align reporting needs, and follow up on local implementations (without leading execution directly).Drive internal awareness and ownership of sustainability efforts through workshops, updates, and communities of practice.3. External Representation & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the external voice of Lutosa's sustainability commitments—in customer conversations, public events, forums, coalitions, and regulatory discussions.Represent Lutosa in external sustainability dialogues, working groups, and sustainability networks (e.g., Climate Coalitions, CSR Belgium).Support the commercial team by developing sustainability narratives and customer reporting tools that reinforce brand positioning.Ensure regulatory monitoring (e.g. CSRD, ESG legislation) and proactively assess their impact on business activities.Coordinate the publication of non-financial disclosures (e.g. CSRD / DPEF) in alignment with group standards.Act as the external voice of Lutosa's for Public Affairs.4.
