General Ledger Accountant - Liege

We are looking for a skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our team
What we expect:
* You will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks
* You will contribute to establish reliable financial information performing a wide variety of tasks
* Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations and accounts receivable and issue invoices
* Respond to queries from internal and external customers
* Contribute to month-end closing and reporting and quarter end closing
* Assist in preparing accurate and timely quarterly financial reporting
What we expect
* Demonstrable experience in a similar position
* Experience of working in the Production industry (dealing with inventory, production and standard costs)
* Knowledge of Us GAAP and IFRS
* Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software's, Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
* Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
* Analytical minded, accurate and very well organized
* Motivated team player
* Quick learner
* Proactive attitude in solving problems
* Qualified ideally to degree level in accounting
* Languages : fluent in both French and English
