A European consulting firm active in public affairs and strategic communication is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team in Brussels. Their mission is to help the European regulator make informed decisions.
This company is at an exciting stage of their development having been recently acquired by a Private Equity Firm.
Your main tasks:
Record purchase, sales, and bank transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
Perform reconciliations and assist in preparing month-end and year-end closings.
Support VAT declarations and cash-flow follow-up.
Help streamline and implement accounting procedures and maintain ERP (Afas) data integrity.
Contribute to internal reporting and process improvement projects.
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
6 months to 1 years of experience in a similar role .
Analytical, structured, and eager to learn.
Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
