We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Integration, Operations & Support Specialist.
This role is a hybrid of systems monitoring, incident management, and release coordination, requiring hands-on expertise in cloud-based systems and CI/CD pipelines. You will serve as a vital link between developers, architects, and business users to ensure the performance of mission-critical applications.
Missions
Monitor system logs and metrics using tools like CloudWatch or Dynatrace. You will also produce operational reports and statistics via Piwik or BI tools.
Handle technical issues following ITIL practices, performing root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Manage the full release lifecycle, including reception, validation, and testing of new releases. You will also apply established change-management procedures.
Provide 2nd-level technical support to users. This includes troubleshooting functional issues related to HTML, XML, and CSS.
Support CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket/GitLab) and operate systems hosted in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Draft and review functional/non-functional specifications, maintain Linux/Unix scripts, and create JSON queries.
Participate in technical working groups and deliver training sessions or system demonstrations to internal teams.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
5+ years of experience in IT, with a proven track record in system monitoring, log analysis, and functional testing.
Previous experience in large-scale public sector or complex IT environments is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix (administration and Shell scripting) and application servers like Tomcat or JBoss/WildFly.
Hands-on experience with MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD tools (Bitbucket/GitLab), and ideally containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of HTML, XML (XSLT, XPath), CSS, and API management (Postman, curl, JSON).
Basic knowledge of Java or Perl is required.
A calm, structured approach to handling high-pressure incidents.
Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams (developers/ops) and business stakeholders.
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining mission-critical platform stability.
