The position will also be responsible for deepeningrelationships with EU based regulators including but not limited tothe ECB, ESMA, EBA, and the European Systemic Risk Board. The rolewould require regular travels, primarily to London and EU countries(approximately 25% of the time). As a Vice President within ourEMEA Regulatory Affairs team, you will support regulatory policyengagement in the region. You will act as a member of the EMEARegulatory Affairs team, being responsible for regulatory policyanalysis and advocacy for the EMEA region and will provideleadership and analysis on regulatory policy topics such asprudential, retail and digital regulatory initiatives. You will bea regulatory policy professional, contributing to a range ofadvocacy efforts on priority EU and UK regulatory policy dossiersthat impact the firm. You will work closely with the EMEARegulatory Affairs team and will also partner extensively withRegulatory Affairs colleagues in the. and APAC to strategicallydevelop, pursue and execute regulatory policy analysis and advocacyobjectives for the Firm. Job responsibilities 1. Identify andmonitor regulatory policy developments. Monitor key EU and UK (.ESMA, EC, FCA, HMT) and international releases (. IOSCO) on anumber of markets and other related policy issues. 2. Provideinsights, updates, and potential business impact analysis of thesedevelopments on the Firm. 3. Advise our Lines of Business(LOBs) andother functions on the implications of key policies andregulations, including at firmwide and legal entity levels, todrive consistent interpretation and execution of requirements. 4.Develop positions and advocacy strategies on proposed regulatorypolicies and lead engagement with trade associations, policymakers,regulators and other stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. 5.Represent the Firms viewsin discussions with regulators,legislators and other appropriate external stakeholders. 6. Producequantitative and qualitative analysis in support of regulatorypolicy positions. 7. Deliver verbal and written briefings andanalyses on complex topics to a wide range of internalstakeholders, including senior management. 8. Prepare executivelevel presentations for senior leaders to use with both internaland external stakeholders on a range of regulatory policy issues inthe region. 9. Build relationshipsand work with a wide range ofinternal stakeholders (LOBs, compliance, legal, government affairs,finance, and global partners in the Regulatory Affairs function) indetermining the firm''s views on proposals and the appropriatemechanism for advocacy/response. 10. Develop and engagerelationships with external stakeholders, including identifying andbuilding relationships with regulators, peer firms, and trade andindustry bodies.
