Legal Secretary Company Description
Our client is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in Luxembourg. The firm is renowned for its excellence, high-end clientele, and collaborative work environment. To support its growing operations, the firm is currently looking for a Legal Secretary with billing responsibilities, who is fluent in French, English, and German, to join its dynamic team of legal professionals. Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a team of lawyers.
* Draft and format legal correspondence, presentations, and other legal documents.
* Handle incoming and outgoing communications, schedule meetings, and manage agendas.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports.
* Manage client files and ensure proper archiving and documentation.
* Prepare, issue, and follow up on client invoices (billing coordination and time entries).
* Liaise with internal finance and accounting teams to ensure timely billing processes.
* Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining client databases.
Profile
* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Legal Secretary, ideally in a law firm or professional services firm.
* Familiar with legal documentation and terminology, particularly in a cross-border context.
* Fluency in French, English, and German is essential (spoken and written).
* Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with billing systems is a plus (, Elite, Aderant, or equivalent).
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information.
* High level of attention to detail, especially in billing and document formatting.
