About the role
Our client is seeking a hands-on, senior Ecommerce Commercial & Operations Manager to strengthen the Digital & E-commerce department.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for steering both the commercial strategy and the operational performance of the e-commerce platform.
You will manage a growing team of experts and work in close collaboration with the Buying, IT, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.
Your goal: to deliver strong digital results, ensure daily operational efficiency, and guarantee an optimal customer journey.
Your missions
Commercial strategy for the webshop
1. Define and execute the e-commerce commercial strategy in collaboration with the Buying team
2. Manage assortment, pricing strategy, promotions, and stock optimization
3. Identify growth levers to increase online revenue and profitability
4. Monitor market trends and customer behavior to adapt the offer
️ E-commerce operations management (RUN)
5. Oversee daily webshop operations: uptime, performance, issue resolution
6. Coordinate with IT, logistics, and customer service to solve operational issues efficiently
7. Ensure digital shelf excellence and optimal on-site customer journey
8. Define and improve e-commerce-related processes and tools
Digital performance & campaign management
9. Partner with the Performance Strategist to implement the digital commercial plan
10. Track key e-commerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, basket size...) and take corrective actions if needed
11. Work closely with Marketing and CRM teams to align media, content, and commercial activities
12. Ensure an omnichannel approach
The ideal candidate
Experience & expertise
13. to years of experience in e-commerce or retail, with proven expertise in both commercial and operational roles
14. Experience in a scale-up or transforming organization is a strong plus
