Compliance Officer – PSD2, GDPR, AML & more We are building an independent banking services. Our goal: become the largest player in the Belgian market in the coming years.As our Compliance Officer, you will mitigate legal and regulatory risks by implementing effective compliance programs, policies, and procedures .
Autonomy and responsibility as a single-person function, with room to shape compliance programs from A-Z.Hybrid working model: combine remote work (3 days/week) with office presence in Brussels.
Regulatory ComplianceMonitor, assess, and advise on compliance with relevant laws and regulations (PSD2, GDPR, AML/CFT, etc.).Report compliance posture to management and the board.Act as Data Protection Officer .Monitoring ComplianceLead compliance projects and perform regular risk assessments.Evaluate controls, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee audits.Foster a culture of compliance across the organization.Develop and deliver training programs for employees.Maintain clear, accessible compliance records for audits and regulatory reviews.Present compliance status and recommendations to management and the board.
Master's degree in Law, Economics, or Finance .~7–10+ years of relevant experience (not limited to KYC/AML).~ Deep knowledge of PSD2, GDPR, AML/CFT, and payment services regulations.~ Ability to operate independently and act as the internal reference for compliance matters.~ Fluent in Dutch, French, and English .~ Fit & Proper assessment by the National Bank of Belgium will apply.
5,200–6,000 gross (CDI - 38h/week), plus benefits.Hybrid work setup combining remote work (3 days/week) and office presence.
