What You Will Do
* Manage incoming and outgoing transport flows from and to 3PL Locations
* Support inventory synchronization between Lonza and 3PL systems and daily follow up of inventory discrepancies to ensure availability of products for order allocation and customer delivery
* Oversee and participate in day to day execution of outbound orders, like creation and/or validation of paperwork and transport bookings
* Monitor the performance of logistics and distribution partners through running reports and creating management summary to help the initiation of performance reviews with partners
* Create intracompany Purchase Orders (PO) and Transport Management documents focused on the incoming flows, monitoring of open PO, transport and customs clearance until product delivery is completed
* Participation in continuous improvement projects in cooperation with 3PL, transport and Lonza departments
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Supply Chain or Business Management
* Experience with export and import activities with the US, UK and Switzerland
* CPIM certification, SAP and knowledge of 3PL operations and transport companies are a plus
* Pervious experience with continuous improvement projects is also a plus
* Business proficiency in English and advanced level French language skills
